Some of my favorite things that I like to hear are, "Wow, I can't believe you captured that moment" and "These photos bring back such great memories" and my all-time favorite, "I'm trying to keep the drool inside my mouth."

My response is usually, "I'm a photo ninja" or "Here's a towel."

It began years ago when I was on my way to becoming a pastry chef. In preparation for my portfolio, I learned photography so that I could take better photos of my pastry work. As my desire grew to capture better food photos, so did my passion for photography. It eventually eclipsed my love of baking entirely and I became a photographer instead. Today, that passion for photography continues to burn brightly in all areas of my life.

I especially love to capture the small fleeting moments or details that are easily missed and seeing beauty in the simplest of things. The most rewarding part of photography is being able to take what I see through the lens and creating a photo that evokes excitement, joy, and even hunger. :)
